The Office of the Vice Provost for the Arts at Duke University (Duke Arts) produces and empowers expansive, inclusive, and impactful arts programs that build meaningful connections between campus, community, and global audiences. Duke Arts ensures that the arts at Duke are inclusive of and accessible to every member of the Duke and Durham communities, whether they study in academic programs, engage in student activities, participate in workshops and arts events, or attend professional presentations.
Position Summary:
Duke Arts is seeking a summer content production fellow to create branded content for a variety of programs and projects. The fellow reports to the director while working closely with the entire four-person Duke Arts marketing and communications team.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, capture, and edit original video and audio content in support of Duke Arts summer programs and upcoming academic year projects and initiatives.
- Attend Duke Arts events and programs to capture video and photo content.
- Support the creation of written materials to accompany original videos, including video summaries for the Duke Arts blog and social media captions.
- Edit, resize, and adapt existing materials to various platform specifications.
- Add new content to Duke Arts website, hosted on WordPress.
- Assist with data projects tracking performance of original content.
- Manage and update Duke Arts content archive
- Promote and maintain Duke Arts branding guidelines in all materials
- Perform other duties as assigned.
