Campus Commons Pet Hospital (CCPH) is seeking an experienced Hospital Manager to lead day-to-day hospital operations with professionalism, structure, and consistency. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands that strong hospital culture is built through clear expectations, calm authority, and reliable follow-through.

The successful candidate will bring steady leadership, sound judgment, and operational discipline—balancing care for people with accountability and high standards.

The Role

As Hospital Manager, you set the tone for the hospital each day. You create clarity, reduce friction, and ensure the hospital runs in a predictable, compliant, and respectful way. Success comes from being present, prepared, and decisive, while leading with empathy and fairness.

You will:

  • Set and uphold clear standards for behavior, performance, and accountability
  • Build trust through consistency, transparency, and follow-through
  • Partner closely with doctors and operations leaders to ensure smooth hospital function
  • Create a structured, psychologically safe environment where teams can perform at their best

 

Key Responsibilities:-

Leadership & Team Accountability

  • Model professionalism, emotional maturity, and respectful communication
  • Address performance and behavior concerns early, directly, and constructively
  • Hold teams accountable for attendance, punctuality, and communication
  • Conduct structured coaching conversations with documented expectations and follow-ups
  • Partner with the Clinical Director to support team development and consistency

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of:
    • Cleaning, maintenance, and safety logs
    • Compliance and quality documentation
    • Daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists
  • Conduct routine audits and spot checks; address gaps promptly
  • Maintain continuous readiness for AAHA and internal reviews
  • Drive consistency across shifts, roles, and workflows

Communication & Partnership

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with doctors, teammates, and leadership
  • Translate expectations into simple, executable guidance
  • Escalate risks and issues early and appropriately
  • Receive feedback openly and adjust approach as needed

  • Previous experience as a Hospital Manager, Practice Manager, or similar operational leader
  • Proven success leading teams with clear standards and accountability

  • Ability to work effectively with both clinicians and hourly teammates
