About the role

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior .NET Developer to join our team. This is a remote position, must me located in the United States. 

 As a Senior .NET Developer you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

  • Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and deployment.  
  • Collaborate on the design and development of the appropriate solution with client lead and/or project Architect.
  • Ensure that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
  • Engage in the process of developing technical documentation efforts and creation of user stories 
  • Conduct code audits and reviews as required
  • Develop unit testing of code components per the user story
  • Serve as a senior member of the team and mentor junior resources.  Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and client.
  • Participate in the creation of the WBS and backlog per sprint and assist PM in project planning
  • Independently manage assigned tasks
  • Attend sprint planning,  retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups and report technical blockers to the project lead

 

  • Passionate coders with 5-7 years of application development experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of programming experience with .NET Framewroks and C#
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with API development 
  • Experience with Kafka
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with many AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, S3
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or comparable modern UI framework would be considered an asset 
  • Full life-cycle development experience – with Agile/Scrum project approach
  • Client facing and/or consulting experience is a must
  • Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
  • Self-starter who can work independently.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974.00 to $149,880.00. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
