We are looking for a subject matter expert to join our Business Continuity and Crisis Management (BCCM) Team, to take part in the Digital Operating Resilience Act (DORA) activities in Nordea.

About this opportunity

 

As a subject matter expert on business continuity contributing to the DORA Programme, you will play a key role in the execution of the activities we set in motion to address the new EU legislation. You will be supported by experienced team members and leaders, while expected to be a self-starter with high standards. Delivery often requires close collaboration between our line organization, the BCCM Team, – of which you will be a part of – and the project organization consisting of external consultants.

 


What you’ll be doing:

  • Plan and execute DORA deliveries in the line organization together with the program and BCCM management
  • Influencing skills and vision to implement changes & manage expectations with project and business stakeholders. Manage resource risk due to increased workload related to the migration to the new BC&R tool
  • Be responsible for identifying and follow up on dependencies and opportunities for closing gaps towards DORA compliance within business continuity, work with DORA gaps, monitor implementation and do quality assurance on deliveries
  • Perform analytical work and create decision making proposals, ensure that non-compliance risks are fully mitigated, and cross-functional processes are updated for "cross-border" requirements
  • Considering your profile, appetite and ambitions, the role can develop over time

Your experience and background: 

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of banking and finance, including awareness of regulatory initiatives within the industry
  • You have Project Management skills combined with a significant interest in understanding and interpreting complicated regulatory texts
  • Direct experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) with a track record of developing and implementing BCM frameworks, conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and creating Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
