Head Swim Team Coach (Part-Time)

Description

Do you have great swimming skills and technique with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills? Do you enjoy being responsible and being able to provide supervision and safety of all in a pool environment with your spare time? If so, the YMCA of Central Massachusetts Central Community Branch is looking for you to join our amazing Aquatics Department!

The Head Swim Team Coach is responsible for managing the team's competitive program, planning and scheduling practices, developing and planning a training program, and communicating with the team and their parents/guardians. Typical hours vary – weekdays, daytime, evenings, and weekends, with a preference for daytime and evening weekday availability.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in Swim Coaching
• Current Lifeguard Certification
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Schedule: Weekdays 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm, and open availability on weekends for Swim Meets that typically last most of the day

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $20.00 an hour
