Position Highlights
- Full-time, onsite position in the Northwest San Fernando Valley (Calabasas / Sherman Oaks / surrounding areas)
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Competitive compensation: around $65K to $90K annually, depending on experience and healthcare accounting expertise

What You'll Do
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Oversee medical billing processes, including insurance claims, patient payments, and reimbursement tracking
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Maintain general ledger and support payroll processing for medical staff and vendors
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and financial forecasts
- Prepare detailed cost reports for medical procedures and services
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and HIPAA standards
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline financial operations
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Standard business hours
- Onsite role in the Northwest San Fernando Valley (Calabasas, Sherman Oaks, Tampa area)
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a healthcare, clinic, or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, revenue cycle management, and reimbursement systems
- Proficiency in accounting and medical software (e.g., QuickBooks, Epic)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and healthcare compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across clinical and administrative teams
- Experience managing high-volume billing and patient accounts
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
- Effective time management skills
