Position Highlights

• Full-time, onsite position in the Northwest San Fernando Valley (Calabasas / Sherman Oaks / surrounding areas)
• Monday–Friday schedule

• Competitive compensation: around $65K to $90K annually, depending on experience and healthcare accounting expertise

What You'll Do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Oversee medical billing processes, including insurance claims, patient payments, and reimbursement tracking
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Maintain general ledger and support payroll processing for medical staff and vendors
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and financial forecasts
• Prepare detailed cost reports for medical procedures and services
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and HIPAA standards
• Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline financial operations
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Standard business hours
• Onsite role in the Northwest San Fernando Valley (Calabasas, Sherman Oaks, Tampa area)

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a healthcare, clinic, or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of medical billing, revenue cycle management, and reimbursement systems
• Proficiency in accounting and medical software (e.g., QuickBooks, Epic)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and healthcare compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across clinical and administrative teams
• Experience managing high-volume billing and patient accounts
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
