Human Resources Assistant

First United Bank is accepting applications for a Full Time Human Resources Assistant in our Operations Center.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Support HR team in posting job openings, screening resumes and scheduling interviews
• Prepare new hire paperwork and assist in the onboarding process
• Assist with benefits enrollment process
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records by organizing and scanning documents to personnel file
• Assist with payroll processing and data entry prior to payroll submission
• Respond to employee inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, and direct inquiries to the appropriate HR team member as needed
• Ensure provider invoices are processed accurately and efficiently each month
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
• Support HR team in various projects
• Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations, and assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Participate in job specific training, various bank training programs, and complies with BSA, AML and all bank policies and procedures as required
• Any other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent is required
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in Human Resources is preferred
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality is required
• Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary
• Ability to learn new things quickly and adapt to change
• Enthusiastic team player, highly motivated, and a self-starter
• Organized and able to efficiently handle multiple tasks
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft programs
