As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.
Job Summary:
This FieldCore team supports the GE Vernova Business Unit EHS teams on Benchmark Gensuite applications used to track and manage EHS metrics. The EHS IT Systems Lead is responsible for providing leadership guidance to the team, while performing the EHS IT Systems Specialist role.
The EHS IT Systems Specialist provides general EHS reporting across multiple tools with the expectation that they support all GEV BU EHS teams in addition to the GEV EHS HQ reporting team. This support includes report preparation, data management (extracts and updates), implementation of new initiatives, new user and new application training and liaising with software vendors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Training – onboard new users, launch newly implemented applications, create/maintain training materials
- Partner with BU team and Gensuite to manage implementation plans (new functionality of existing tools, new tools, etc.)
- Manage user permissions – defined assignments based on user responsibilities
- Manage user support tickets – address, reassign, liaise with vendor
- Manage instance structure – track creations/deactivations; liaise between BU and vendor for reorganization projects
- Provide support for GEV EHS HQ team for reports, data analysis, and reviews as needed
- Develop working knowledge of additional software tools integrated with Benchmark Gensuite
- Comply with strict data privacy and security protocols
- Ensure team members are aware of software updates/changes, and fully trained with appropriate access to processes and tools
- Manage and assign projects from GEV EHS HQ
- Manage team’s time-off requests, ensuring coverage for daily client needs
- Assist Service Mgr. in staffing the team, including resume review, interviews, providing feedback and recommendations applicable to hiring and in-house promotions
- Provide leadership, coaching and direction to team members while adhering to FieldCore policies, mediating disputes, and customer inquiries as needed
- Lead the team in facilitating optimal client services and quality experiences
- Partner with Service Mgr. in areas of performance management; developing and implementing annual reviews, disciplinary actions (PIPs, MORs, terminations, etc.)
- Travel may be required

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in using the Benchmark Gensuite application, supporting client business groups
- Prior experience leading, mentoring or supervising a team, preferred
- Strong customer relationship skills, to include the ability to manage escalated client issues and difficult situations with tact and professionalism
- Ability to effectively work, guide and collaborate with multiple team members
- MS Office proficiency – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- English proficiency required
