This is a multi-faceted Senior Security Analyst position working within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. You will help develop, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Your previous experience within the industrial security field as well as your prior experience in conducting security investigations and administrative inquiries will be essential to your success.
What You Will Do
- Conduct employee briefings including new hire orientation, in-processing/out-processing security briefings/debriefings, and security education.
- Prepare and participate in semi-annual and yearly audits and inspections.
- Assist with the implement of local Standard Operating procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and COMSEC requirements and guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain inquiry reports on security infractions/violations and specifying preventive actions to be taken.
- Prepare and submit suspicious contact and adverse information reports.
- Perform duties as a lead document control representative ensuring continuity with operations and compliance to proper shipping, receiving, and accountability of classified material.
- Assist with visitor access control and personnel security.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Typically requires a university degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study
- 2 years prior relevant experience
Qualifications We Prefer
- Working knowledge of 32 CFR 117, DoD 5220.22-M (NISPOM) and ISLs.
- Working knowledge of NSA Manual 3-16 and other COMSEC regulations.
- Working knowledge of DISS, submitting VALs, checking incoming visit requirements.
- Working knowledge of Access Commander Security database.
- Knowledge of Resolver Incident Management tracking database.
- Completion of commensurate General and Industrial Security Courses through the CDSE.
