Purpose

Describe the primary goals, objectives or functions or outputs of this position.

As a member of the Foodservice Team it is your responsibility to be a good team member and take initiative to assist others as need to insure we provide excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

List up to 10 main responsibilities for the job. Include information about the accountability and scope.

• Prepare daily menu items, specials, and catering orders according to standardized recipes while managing appropriate production volume.
• Make eggs and any breakfast specials, then make any pastries on the menu for the day; make breakfast sandwiches and have line set up by opening of café.
• Interact and serve guest in a friendly efficient manner, answering questions and accommodating special request.
• Comply with proper food handling, cleaning schedules, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
• Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and placing appropriate orders with the storeroom manager.
• Prep for next day and be available for any special requests.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized grill station throughout service.
• Serve at lunch and continue to batch cook while also taking care of all guests.
• After lunch service, take food off line and discard or cool product down properly and put away. Clean steam table and grill, including area underneath the counter.
• Continue to wipe down area, do GFS order, prep for the next day.
