What you'll do at Jamf:

The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for building the tools required to help organizations succeed with Apple. 

Collaborate with experienced Engineers, Product Management and leadership to understand priorities and how those solve problems. Subject matter expert in various Jamf components and product offerings.

 

What you can expect to do in this role:

• Independently complete basic tasks from start to finish with high quality.
• Collaborate with more experienced engineers when needed.
• Efficiently use available tools with guidance.
• Learn and follow engineering best practices and processes while being able to explain deviation.
• Partner with senior engineers to understand technical concepts.
• Perform basic well-defined tasks independently and seeks guidance when needed from more experienced engineers. 
• Maintain a positive attitude while working through challenges.

What we are looking for: 

• Minimum of 1 of experience developing enterprise grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes. (Preferred)
• Experience in current programming language and tools: Kotlin, Python, Terraform, YAML, JVM, Kubernetes, and AWS technologies, including S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, and DynamoDB (Preferred)
• High School Diploma / GED (Required)
• 4 years / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
