A Day in the Life

Medtronic is hiring in our Memphis Airways Distribution Center, where our employees are helping us deliver on the extraordinary. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact with the Medtronic Clinical team, ensuring all inbound and outbound orders are executed on time and in full while delivering a best-in-class, white glove service experience. This position acts as the dedicated liaison between the Distribution Center (DC) and Clinical stakeholders, fostering clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and seamless coordination.

In addition to managing order execution, the role supports all DC activities, driving operational excellence, maintaining compliance with established processes, and reinforcing patient-first service standards. By balancing day-to-day order flow with strategic DC support, this position ensures flawless service delivery and builds trust across teams.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Processes product returned to distribution, including data entry, inspection of the product and packaging condition and disposition of the product.
  • Maintains a close working relationship with Customer Solutions and Business Units to insure that the appropriate disposition is completed properly.
  • Serve as the main POC for the Clinical team, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
  • Manage and monitor order flow (inbound and outbound) to ensure OTIF execution.
  • Provide white glove servce, proactively anticipating needs and resolving barriers to maintain patient frist standards.
  • Partner with DC leadership and operational teams to support all DC activities, including escalations, compliance, and process alignment.
  • Track, review, and report on order performance, idetifying trends, risk, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Clinical, Supply Chain, Quality, Transportation, Demo, etc..) to resolve disrepanicies or delays.
  • Support implementation of process improvements and standard operating procedures to strengthen service delivery.
  • Uphold organizational values by ensuring safety, quality, and compliance in all actions.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Requires minimum of 8 years of experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$52,800.00 - $79,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
