Description
The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of plastic surgery and reconstructive microsurgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidate must be board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS).
Teaching responsibilities may include education of medical students, residents and microsurgical fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care of patients. Responsibilities may include the full spectrum of plastic surgery with a primary focus on breast reconstruction.
Position will be based in Philadelphia at Pennsylvania Hospital with potential outpatient sites in suburban NJ or PA. Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited plastic surgery residency program and a microsurgical fellowship.
