Responsible for the daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals caring for the patient. Accountable for assuring effective use of available resources, maintaining established standards of care and outcomes. Ensures that variations based on patients individual needs are justified and well documented.
QualificationsEDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent. Medical Assistant: Successful completion of Medical Assistant training program and hold a State Certification in Medical Assisting. LPN: Graduate of an approved School of Nursing and hold a license in State of WV as LPN.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience preferred but not required.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of medical assisting procedures. BLS required.
