Product and Data Management Intern

Seeking motivated and detail-oriented intern to work with Product Management at GS1 US. The role will support Product Owners and Data Quality team, with a focus on data services, product management, and customer experience. Seeking a detail-oriented individual, comfortable working with structured processes, preparing requirements and documentation, recognizing patterns and inconsistencies, and asking strong questions.  

Responsibilities:  

• Gather and document technical and product requirements  
• Analyze and report on customer data and analytics 
• Identify data errors and follow processes to resolve  
• Maintain project schedules and roadmaps 
• Create customer workflows and documentation 
• Document findings and suggest process improvements if applicable 
• Assist in the creation of product launch plans 
• Participate in and summarize product and data management meetings 

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing data   
• Basic proficiency with spreadsheets, data entry, diagramming 
• Comfortable working independently and following structured workflows   
• Good communication skills for clarifying information when necessary  
• Prior experience with business data systems is a plus  

• Gain hands-on experience in product management and data quality management. 
• Learn about customer experience and customer success strategies. 
• Understand customer process flows and data management practices.
• Develop skills in data analysis and problem-solving.
