Job Description

As a Security Guard - Warehouse Site - Afternoon Shift in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for all employees and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
• Monitor the environment for any unusual activity or hazards, promptly reporting observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to support security-related operations and objectives in a tech-focused location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
