THE JOB:

As a Food Runner at NoMad Library Restaurant, you will play a vital role in creating a luxurious and theatrical dining experience. Your responsibilities will include delivering dishes to guests with precision and elegance, assisting with tableside presentations for select menu items, and ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and dining room. This role is perfect for someone passionate about fine dining who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

THE STARTING RATE:  $15.8946 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Deliver dishes promptly and accurately to guests, ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards.

• Perform tableside service for select dishes, such as desserts and tuna tartare, following established protocols.

• Restock and prepare essential items like dishware, plateware, and service utensils for smooth service.

• Collaborate with chefs and the dining team to address guest needs and feedback in real time.

• Assist with opening and closing tasks, including side work like restocking sauces and organizing service areas.

• Maintain attention to detail, ensuring all dishes and service items are prepared and presented impeccably.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

• 6 months experience in a high-volume upscale or fine dining environment as a Food Runner or related role.

• Perform tableside service for select dishes, such as desserts and tuna tartare, following established protocols.

• Restock and prepare essential items like dishware, plateware, and service utensils for smooth service.
