The Company

Wolfe, LLC, is an e-commerce company, located in Pittsburgh, PA, focused on next-generation gifting business models.

We are well known for being the company that started the first coupon website in 1995 which sold to a public company in 2000, at the peak of the dot-com era, when we were delivering 20 million page views per month. We then built Direct Response Technologies; grew it to 70 employees; and sold it to Digital River in 2006. We spun off Jambo Media with our tech team and sold it to Undertone in 2012.

We built and focused on GiftCards.com from 2006 to 2016 and sold it to Blackhawk Network. We had over 100 employees whom have shared in our profits.

Today, Wolfe Companies include several brands that are revolutionizing gifting, such as Gift Card Granny, PerfectGift, GiftYa, Give InKind, and Reaf Marketing. We have roughly 160 employees and contractors. We are experiencing triple digit growth year over year. The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a cloud engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure using AWS and containerization technologies like Docker, and orchestration services like Kubernetes (EKS). You will also work closely with our development teams to provide a robust, scalable, and secure environment for our applications to run.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, cost-effective, and highly available containerized infrastructure solutions using the AWS platform.
• Collaborate with other technology teams, stakeholders, and partners to gather requirements, define architecture, and provide technical expertise for projects.
• Containerize existing applications using Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes clusters
• Manage EKS/K8s clusters with Helm and ensure high availability and scalability
• Set up and configure NginX web server and load balancers
• Maintain and optimize MySQL databases
• Deploy and manage ECS services
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like BitBucket
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in AWS focused cloud engineering
• Strong Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including deploying Kubernetes manifests, scaling pods, and managing stateful workloads
• Familiarity with MySQL databases and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with ECS container orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Strong Linux engineering skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
