Physical Security Systems Specialist II
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Physical Security Systems Specialist II is responsible for determining the most appropriate physical security techniques and physical security systems to accomplish objectives within Global Security & Safety policies and standards throughout the global enterprise. Plans and recommends physical security systems and service requirements for the global enterprise.
How you will make an impact:
- Responsible for the global coordination, installation, upgrade and conversion or servicing of alarm systems, access controls, video cameras, burglary systems radio systems, and all other types of physical security equipment.
- Manages and distributes workload.
- Monitors inventory levels to meet department service level agreements.
- Defines global physical security system standards, policies, required upgrades, maintenance, and day-to-day management of all security systems through system integrators or internal resources.
- Directs external and internal relationships to ensure the viability of all legacy and new physical security systems, with the goal of minimal business disruption as the result of failed or improperly configured systems.
- Leads the implementation of technology solutions aligned with corporate security strategy and budget guidelines.
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the state-of-the-art security equipment standards and technology encompassing all physical security products.
- Provides system solutions to specific security concerns identified through customer requests, security audits and management.
- Develops and maintains operational processes to ensure security standards are maintained throughout all countries in the enterprise.
- Develops and administers enterprise processes for annual audits for various access control systems.
- Acts as a primary contact for security system emergency issues worldwide.
- Provides product research, feasibility studies, project planning, tracking and quality assurance and overall vendor communication and management.
- Provides systems reports and evidence as necessary to support investigations conducted by Global Security & Safety, human resources and finance.
- Advises and assists in annual security systems budgeting process.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related area and a minimum of 5 years of experience with physical security systems and security software; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Knowledge and experience in working with information technology security application and practices is preferred.
- Physical security software certification is preferred.
