Geotechnical Field Technician

UES is looking for a Geotechnical Field Technician to join our Dallas team. This position is responsible for field reconnaissance and boring layout for geotechnical engineering projects. Tasks vary according to job assignments and include staking boring locations on job sites for drill rig access.  Summary reporting of site conditions will be required for each site visit.  This job is performed in the field at project sites, and requires long, physically demanding hours in all weather conditions.  This position will assist with soils laboratory testing when not busy with field work and/or as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Aids in obtaining and recording of geotechnical samples 
• Creates reports as needed 
• Punctual and reliable attendance 
• Follow all protocols and procedures to guarantee safety on the job site 
• Other duties as assigned
