Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Software Engineer (Experienced/Senior) to join the Electrical Software Integration Team (eSIT) group/team located in Everett, WA where we work on multiple Boeing programs, including all commercial programs (737, 777, 787 etc.). This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization.

Our teams are currently hiring for a range of experience levels including: Experienced and Senior Level Software Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Full life-cycle Software development of Engineering tool and integration software for various platforms using Visual Studio , C#SQL Server, JAVA, Python,  and Amazon Web Services
• Developing and debugging Core Services
• Working with customers and other engineers to define requirements, such as understanding and agreeing upon the function of the software system
• Architecting and designing software to meet current and future requirements
• Implementing and testing software using a variety of technologies and software languages
• Responsible for designing and developing quality products, have strong communication skills, and are capable of working in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple projects concurrently

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Coding Challenge:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• 5+ years’ experience with full life-cycle Software development
• 5+ years’ experience with C#
• 5+ years’ experience with SQL
• 5+ years’ experience with API development

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience with Java and Python
• 3+ year working in Agile software development framework
• Experience with Configuration Management systems

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (level 3)

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, physics or chemistry and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination.

Senior (level 4)

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, physics or chemistry and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination.
