Agricultural Field Supervisor

Hanover Foods Corporation, Clayton, DE is currently seeking an Agricultural Field Supervisor.  This position will plan and manage agricultural operations between the processing facility and growers.  The Agricultural Supervisor will supervise Agricultural activities including contracting Peas, Sweet Corn, Lima Beans and Edamame with 70 to 100 Growers each season.  Will plan, manage and execute planting schedules of contracted crops, maintain records of all pesticide applications, purchase and maintain inventory of pesticides and seeds, coordinate and arrange hauling for harvested crops from harvest sites to processing facility, will assist in managing harvesting operations, i.e. scheduling fuel deliveries, picking up parts, moving equipment to harvest sites, communicate between plant management, harvest and hauling crews, keep current on changes in the area of agriculture, including new seed varieties, fertility requirements and advancements in agriculture technology, create and maintain maps of contracted acreages.
