About the role

As the Front Office Shift Supervisor, you will lead a dynamic team to deliver exceptional guest experiences across multiple service areas. You’ll manage daily operations, coordinate with other departments, and ensure that service standards are consistently met or exceeded. This role also involves strategic planning, budgeting, and compliance oversight, making it ideal for a seasoned hospitality professional with strong leadership and organizational skills. 

  • Prepares daily reports for management.
  • Prepares work schedule for the front desk.
  • Records and documents employee attendance and performance.
  • Supervises and trains agents at the front desk.
  • Ensures the department has the necessary equipment for daily operations.
  • Assists in guest check-in and out, makes reservations, and answers incoming calls.
  • Ensures each guest receives exceptional guest service and resolves guest complaints or disputes.
  • Communicates with housekeeping on a regular basis regarding room status. 
  • Promotes the hotel/casino and all its services and facilities while maximizing occupancy and ADR.
  • Processes daily reports, reconciliations, journals, etc., and accurately and in a timely manner reports any problems or discrepancies immediately to the Front Office Manager or Hotel Manager.
  • Assures the safety and security of all guests, customers, and co-workers, as well as protecting company assets.

  • Uphold safety, security, and company policy compliance 

  • High School Diploma or GED required 

  • Minimum of 1 year of hotel and guest service experience 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications 

  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods 

  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays 

  • Comfortable working in diverse environments, including casino floors
