As our first paralegal in the US, you will be an essential member of the Airwallex legal team and will help uplift and scale our work in the US and globally. You’ll work on exciting projects covering multiple jurisdictions and have the opportunity to own a great variety of initiatives, big and small. Your attention to detail and your ability to take initiative will set you up for success in this role.

You Will:
- Provide general support to the US legal team and the global legal department
- Expand your skills and expertise by working on multi-jurisdictional projects at one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the world
- Support legal processes and operational excellence and drive continuous improvement of the legal function
- Assist in reviewing and drafting legal documents and filings
- Assist with managing compliance with licensing requirements
- Help coordinate various stakeholders on regulatory inquiries, filings, and responses
- Maintain databases of legal department documents and assist with broader Airwallex Group knowledge management
- Prepare and arrange for agreements and other documents to be signed off and executed by relevant stakeholders
- Assist in liaising with external service providers (e.g., law firms, translation firms, corporate secretarial agents)
- Provide support on corporate secretarial matters
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a paralegal – experience at a large law firm, fintech, or high-growth and/or globally distributed company is a plus
- Excellent command of written and spoken English – other languages are a plus
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- The ability to multitask effectively, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Workspace, and Slack
