Administrative Assistant

North Point Defense, Inc. is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including:

• Inventory, order, and stock snack foods and drinks
• Inventory, order, and stock office supplies
• Inventory, order, and stock kitchen and bathroom supplies
• Regularly test conference room system setups for issues
• Plan, purchase, and set up refreshments for meetings. These can be breakfast, lunch, or late afternoon meetings.
• Plan and execute morale events such as office-wide lunches, appropriate seasonal events (chili cookoff, super bowl activities, etc), or small afternoon office get-togethers.
• May need to make occasional trips to a store to purchase supplies and/or food.
• Answer doors when in the office
• Put away relevant deliveries and dispose of packing materials.
• Help to maintain a positive office environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Flexibility in schedule to be able to occasionally support early morning or late afternoon meetings.
• Personable demeanor. Willing to chat with employees as appropriate and project a positive outlook.
• Ability to work independently and complete routine tasking without continual direction.

Schedule:

• 15-20 hours per week
• Hours should be spread over 3+ days in the office per week, Monday through Friday
• Schedule is flexible and can flex within reason as long as tasking is completed, and the occasional meetings with refreshments are supported appropriately.
