Position Overview
Ryan Plumbing & Heating is committed to advancing sustainable energy solutions and helping clients reduce energy consumption and costs while working to improve home comfort. We work with residential clients to identify efficiency opportunities and implement practical green energy improvements. 

Responsibilities

• Accessing every home/homeowners’ specific needs and meeting those to the best of your ability
• Building work scopes for customers in an efficient and timely manner
• Maximizing the amount of work done to every home to save energy and maximize profits
• Keeping the customer well informed as to how their work scope is progressing 
• Acting as a liaison for the insulating subcontractor as well as landlords
• Keeping confidential customer information confidential
• Product knowledge, and ability to help a customer grasp the equipment they will potentially purchase
• Deciphering each house’s specific equipment requirements and making sure to recommend the proper system
• Being able to order the equipment in a timely manner as well as checking it over once it has arrived to the shop

Qualifications

• Experience conducting energy audits or building performance assessments preferred
• Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, insulation, and energy efficiency principles
• Familiarity with heat pumps is a plus
• Proficiency with energy modeling or audit software preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
• Ability to maneuver at heights and in small spaces as well as outdoor landscapes effected by weather
• BPI Certified (Preferred or willing to obtain)
