DXC Technology is recognized among the best corporate citizens globally.</p><p></p><p><b>Role: Senior Statutory Accountant for Germany</b></p><p><b>Location: Hybrid from Wrocław, Warszawa, Kraków or Gdańsk. </b></p><p></p><p><b>Essential Job Functions:</b></p><ul><li><p>Supervise the development and implementation of financial policies and internal controls.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits for the DXC companies in Germany.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls for both US GAAP as well as German HGB.</p></li><li><p>Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Foster collaboration and teamwork within the controllership team.</p></li></ul><p><br/><b>Basic Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience</p></li><li><p>Fluent knowledge of English (min. B2)</p></li><li><p>Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and control functions</p></li><li><p>Proficiencies in financial reporting, audit compliance, and risk management</p></li><li><p>Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology</p></li></ul><p><br/><b>Other Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus</p></li><li><p>Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is a plus​</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of the German language will be an asset</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why would you join us?</b></p><p>DXC is a leading Fortune 500 IT services leader, with $17.7 billion in revenue and over 130,000 colleagues around the world.
