Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing key accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role will focus on preparing and posting journal entries, performing daily cash and bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, and maintaining compliance with established accounting policies and procedures. The Senior Accountant will work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment and must be able to manage multiple priorities with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares accurate and timely journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Conducts daily bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly
• Performs monthly cash reconciliations, contributing to financial reporting accuracy
• Assists with the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Supports audit processes and compliance activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Collaborates with other finance team members to improve financial procedures and controls
• Maintains detailed records and documentation for all financial transactions

Required Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 
• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on journal entries and reconciliations. 
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

This position will perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department.

Salary range: $58,854 - $75,000
