In this position... 

 

Ford Customer Service Division is dedicated to enhancing Ford's reputation as a top-tier service, parts, and delivery network, with a focus on providing customers with a world-class experience. 

The Lead Supervisor is a leadership role whose primary responsibility is to lead and develop Material Control Supervisors while overseeing the broader operation. 

This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends and most holidays. Eligible for overtime pay when working holidays. There is no hybrid option for this position.

 

What you’ll do…

The Lead Supervisor is expected to work closely with Plant Manager to ensure the following: 

 

  • Responsible for managing all operations: Inbound, outbound, claims processing, building 
  • maintenance.
  • Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism. 
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders, including fair and consistent 
  • administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Supervise and develop material control supervisors.
  • Responsible for all operations including, but not limited to: Safety, Denials, Quality, On-time delivery, Union Relationships, and Transportation.
  • Inventory Management, Manage Budgets, Environmental/Facility Management, Operational Business Plans, Liaison for all external partners.
  • This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays. There is no hybrid option for this position.

You'll have...

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn current systems (SAP/EWM).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently.
  • Goal oriented mindset.
  • A continuous Improvement mindset with a focus on quality and reducing costs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to ensure accountability from all employees.
  • Must have ability and experience to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet and/or exceed shipping deadlines.

 

Even better, you may have...

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years operational experience within a High Velocity Center or similar warehouse experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a union environment preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year leadership experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years operational experience preferred.

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440.
