What You Will Do
Support Pratt & Whitney’s Government Security Compliance department as an Assistant Contractor Special Access Programs Security Officer (ACSSO) responsible for the implementation and oversight of a special access national security program. You will be assigned to the Special Access Programs Security Office and work in a classified environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the full-scope implementation of Department of Defense Special Access Program Security Manuals, company Standard Operating Procedures and additional contractual security requirements. Complete duties as assigned by management to include but not limited to:
Apply the requirements of the DoD SAP Security Manuals across a portfolio of programs and facilities.
Collaborate with security and program management for the development, implementation and achievement of program unique security goals and requirements.
Develop and/or implement program specific security plans.
Provide PERSEC related initial, annual and program specific security training to the accessed employee community.
Assist in the completion of annual and event-based security compliance inspections and audits.
Provide daily in-person support to the accessed employee community.
Qualifications You Must Have
Advanced degree and 1+ years of experience within a government regulated environment; OR Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree (or 2-year technical training) and 4+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma and 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience must include 1+ years working directly in Industrial Security field.
Active US Government Security Clearance, SECRET level or higher.
Ability to meet enhanced security requirements to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience as a ACPSO, GSSO or ACSSO
Experience with DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE, or similar databases.
Working knowledge of DoD SAP and SCI programs to provide procedural and policy guidance.
Additional consideration for CDSE SAP Orientation course or CDSE SAP Mid-Level course.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic COMSEC knowledge.
