About the role

Etraveli Group, due to the fact that, is constantly growing and developing its activities in the global

market, is looking for an Accountant to support the growing Banking Team located in the Athens’ office.

The Accountant will report to the Banking Team Leader and will be responsible to closely collaborate with

the team located in Sweden.

Responsibilities:

● Has an eye for detail and the ability to multitask;

● Ensures all invoices are paid on time;

● Daily reconciles and documents bank accounts in multiple currencies and entities;

● Checks and performs refunds and searches for payments requested from other departments;

● Supports and performs Banking tasks in month-end and year-end closing processes;

● Efficiently and effectively communicates in internal and external channels regarding open

invoices and payments.

Requirements

● Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field;

● Working Experience of 4-5 years in an international group with multiple FX transactions;

● Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and familiarity with financial accounting

statements;

● Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);

● Proven experience in Banking is an asset;

● Advanced MS Excel skills including Χlookups and pivot tables;

● Accuracy and attention to detail;

● Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills;

● Relevant certification (e.g. ACCA, CMA) will be considered a plus;

● Fluency in English (verbal and written).
