Your role
As a Senior Mendix Developer, you will be part of the Spring Ecommerce team at PostNL Cross Border Solutions (CBS). CBS manages PostNL’s international e-commerce and logistics, supporting exports, imports, and returns worldwide.
You will be responsible for developing and managing five key Mendix applications that improve cost analysis, operational data, and CO₂ tracking.

You will work closely with the solution consultant, functional specialists, and developers to make business processes smarter and more efficient. You will also have a say in the technical roadmap and explore AI integrations, such as AI-powered invoice processing in the Actual Cost Importer.

You will be part of the Spring Ecommerce team, a dynamic and international group within PostNL Cross Border Solutions (CBS). CBS runs PostNL’s global e-commerce and logistics operations, handling exports, imports, and returns.
Spring is a separate business unit within PostNL, focusing on cross-border logistics. It provides smart digital solutions for major international clients like Shein, AliExpress, and Zara, helping them ship products quickly and efficiently worldwide.
Because Spring Ecommerce supports a fast-moving and entrepreneurial business unit, the applications you develop will have an immediate and visible impact. You will see real results from your work and take pride in making a difference.

You can expect:
•    Salary between €4,453 and €6.307 per month (scale 11, based on 37 hours). 32 hours is also possible!
•    Hybrid working with a €45 net home office allowance per month.
•    8% holiday allowance and 25 vacation days (full-time).

What you bring
You are a proactive and analytical Mendix Developer who understands business needs and can turn them into scalable applications. You enjoy working in a team and asking critical questions when needed. You have a strong analytical mindset, ask the right questions, and feel comfortable working with both business and IT stakeholders. You are eager to take ownership of your work, continuously improve applications, and explore new technologies such as AI integrations.

You also see your self in the following:
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s level thinking with possibly a degree in IT, Business IT, or a related field.
•    At least 4 to 5 years of experience with Mendix, both front-end and back-end.
•    Experience with Java or JavaScript is a plus.
•    Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
•    Experience with AI integrations or an interest in AI applications in Mendix is a plus.
