Job Description
The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts in commercial processes, systems, and tools to increase sales productivity and effectiveness, drive sustainable growth, and enhance customer experience. This role manages a team of business analysts and sales operations team members to support the needs of LGC CDx’s global sales and marketing organization and foster a “One CDx” mindset.
Succeeding in this role requires strong leadership and partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Finance, Business Applications, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of key commercial activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or advanced Degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in a commercial function such as Commercial Operations, Sales, Business Development, Product Management, or Marketing within the life science/diagnostics industries.
- Proven management experience – a history of having planned and delivered significant growth.
- Understanding of sales processes and various selling methodologies.
- Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Expertise in leveraging visualization/BI tools to build dashboards.
- Experience designing and implementing CRM and marketing automation platforms.
