We are seeking a professional individual to join our team as a Backend Engineer (d/f/m) for our Dealer Product Team to move our dealer product to the next stage! 

We believe in agile, team-defined processes. Together with our Product owner we built outstanding meaningful products. 

Are you a self-starter with a passion for backend, a problem solver and have a keen eye for maintainable and testable code? In this case you will love working with us.

Who you are

• Several years of professional experience as a Java developer (Java11+), Spring/ Spring Boot/ Linux
• You speak HTTP and REST like your native language 
• Good knowledge of SQL ideally also noSQL databases
• Experience with Apache Kafka (Elasticsearch would be a phenomenal plus)
• You worked in cross-functional teams and know that responsibility does not end with deployment
•  Proficient in English. German language skills is a plus 

What you'll do

• Work together with business to find pragmatic solutions for our customer needs
• Write clean and maintainable code and will participate in code reviews
• Designing and exposing data products as a first-class engineering concern
• Collaborating with ML engineers to integrate intelligent capabilities like pricing recommendations and demand forecasting
• With your team you collaboratively own the entire DevOps lifecycle from specification to running in production and keep an eye on our business numbers as well
