Introduction to the job

As a Senior Product Owner Shared Services, you serve as the valued partner for IT Software Engineering products in the area of BL Applications product development. As a true team player, you will be the foundation of a new team of 6 developers. Together, you will introduce new services and platforms for ASML digital products. In the upcoming years you release serious growth in our end-users and will move the ASML digital landscape forward.  


Role and responsibilities

​As the Senior Product Owner of the shared services (applications) team, you ensure that your team provides a stable, secure, scalable, self-service development environment that enable the BL Applications software product delivery. You will be part of a relatively new team who focuses on introducing new services and platforms. For you as Senior Product Owner the chance to deploy your vision on these complex projects and guide the following migration.
 

As a Product Owner you’ll:
 

  • Own and deploy the product vision and strategy

  • Overview the planning of migration projects

  • Be in constant contact with stakeholders across multiple departments

  • Make decisions in conjunction with the ART leadership, based on what is done and what has not been done, according to the rules of Agile / Scrum and on priorities related to effective product backlog management

  • Organize and motivate the team

Education and experience

To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on IT related projects, in large development organizations. As a product owner you also bring:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in e.g. Computer Science, Informatics, or Embedded Systems.

  • 7+ years of product owner experience in agile environments

  • Experience in DevOps activities

  • Experience in technical application management​

    •  Preferably in DevOps tooling (Jira, Github/GitLab, SonarQube, Artifactory, Gradle)
