TxDOT’s San Angelo District is hiring a General Transportation Tech I or II (highway maintenance Worker) for our Ozona Maintenance Office.
This office is responsible for maintaining 863 miles of Interstate, U.S., State highways, and Farm-to-Market roads throughout Crockett County. Our dedicated team of 14 full-time employees handles a wide range of tasks including sign replacement, herbicide application, roadway level-up, seal coat, edge repair, tree trimming, litter pickup, project inspection, vehicle maintenance, and more.
We offer company-sponsored CDL training with no upfront cost. You’ll earn your full salary while training, with lodging, transportation, and per diem provided if needed.

Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
