About the role

WWC Global is seeking a junior level Intelligence Analyst to support the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations effort. The Intelligence Analyst will be part of a team on the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Fusion Center (OFC) Intelligence Analyst Task Order in Fairfax, VA. A major portion of this work involves research and report writing.

The Intelligence Analyst will provide services including, but not limited to:

  • Specialized intelligence and threat analysis, and production support
  • Accessing and performing research on designated automated intelligence databases for identifying information of interest to the customer, downloading the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) to be specified by the customer
  • Providing intelligence and threat analysis of the information that is tailored to the customer's requirements
  • Developing documents, summaries, reports, and presentations
  • Presenting briefings to key personnel

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

  • 0-20% / Occasional travel.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Three (3) years of general experience in analysis with federal, state or local government agency, law enforcement agency, or private industry.
  • Current, active TS security clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain DHS suitability.
  • One (1) year of experience writing intelligence reports and obtaining data from various sources and compiling the data into reports.
  • Strong oral communication skills (e.g., ability to independently develop and present briefings).
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization, from entry level to senior leaders.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
