The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a qualified professional to assume the role as Divisional Human Resources Liaison for various divisions within the department. This position will provide professional guidance and consultation of in-depth HR knowledge and other HR functions.

- Serves as the Divisional HR Liaison for various divisions within the ADCRR by providing professional guidance and consultation of in-depth HR knowledge and will be responsible for a variety of HR functions (recruitment, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), position control, on-boarding, establishing/creating positions, and initiating personnel actions)
- Processes all personnel related activity, to include ensuring compliance with ADOA Personnel Rules, ADCRR policies and internal HR Liaison Instructions and procedures
- Variety of HR related functions and overall support for division liaisons
- Administers, coordinates and prioritizes work assignment
- Leads and/or participates in special projects and research
- Develops standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and training resources for division liaisons
- Analyzes reported FMLA requests and claims to determine eligibility and certification in compliance with State and Federal regulations and ensure that ongoing claim management is within company service standards and industry best practices
- Establishes FMLA claims and tracks and codes documentation in accordance with internal workflow processes
- Confers with management and advises staff of department policies and procedures while applying HR knowledge and technical specialty
- Composes correspondence while applying considerable judgment as a subject matter expert
- Participates in LEAN initiatives and methodologies for process improvement
- Exercises discretion and maintains confidentiality
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
