What We Need:

We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings Operations team. The Quality Manager is responsible for building and sustaining quality related competencies and capabilities through the effective utilization of HNI’s Quality Management System (QMS) with the goal of positively impacting business results through exceptional customer experiences. 

What You Will Do:

• Manage quality related long-term planning, analytics and metrics
• Manage customer service requests and selection
• Develop gap analysis and action plans to continually improve Quality Management System (QMS)
• Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement events while instilling quality culture
• Develop and deploy Layered Process Audits System
• Participate and/or lead quality corrective action process by ensuring containment, corrective actions and poke-yoke implementation
• Build Quality Competencies and capabilities through influence
• Acquire, develop, retain, manage talent at the individual and team level 

What You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.  A minimum of 4 years of progressive professional manufacturing/operations experience (preferably in multiple manufacturing functions).
• Ability to understand the needs of internal and external customers, the business and the competitive landscape
• Solid understanding of QMS (Quality Management Systems)
• Ability to develop strategic plans, manage performance of a business function, and lead projects independently
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and to interact with all organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, handle multiple projects, and incorporate manufacturing principles
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
