We are part of a division with 3 locations and approximately 530+ employees in North America. Our manufacturing location are in Westminster, MA and Reynosa, Mexico. In addition, our Sales, Engineering and Product Development team are located in Troy, MI. This role will be in our Westminster Facility.

Job Description
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Production Manager for our Westminster, MA Facility. Westminster has about 45 employees with an annual revenue of $22M. The Production Manager is responsible for the management of production to meet production schedules, quality, and cost objectives. They would normally direct activities in the areas of production, working closely with the production line. They will determine requirements for material, equipment and manpower resources and make recommendations as needed.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the internal day-to-day operation of the manufacturing department for all assigned shifts
- Oversees daily production flow and ensures that necessary labor, material, or support is applied.
- Ensuring policies and procedures are being adhered to and overseeing all personnel in terms of staffing assignments and providing input to performance development reviews.
- Assist Mold Technicians with trouble shooting molding process problems, addressing quality issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Responsible for maximizing productivity and minimizing cost while maintaining quality.
- Designs and develops programs and procedures to increase production in manufacturing.
- Work with technicians and quality engineers in addressing quality problems and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
- Troubleshoot problems related to automation system with manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams.
- Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
- Manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods.
- Work closely with the Quality team to conform to high quality standards and work on quality issues that come up during production, supplier quality, customer quality complaints etc.
- Troubleshoot problem areas, investigate causes of problems, design and implement programs to alleviate problems. Maintain required quality records.
- Maintain production floor and related areas by using 5S principles.
- Apply ITW toolbox to projects and continuous improvements activities and projects.
- Implement MRD in the warehouse for all finished goods SKUs.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials needed for production and work alongside purchasing and customer service.
- Work with warehouse team to monitor finished goods levels and build inventory as needed to meet customer needs.
- Work with manufacturing engineering team and tool room on PPAP activities, running new molds, mold PM schedules and implementing process changes on the floor.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Required:
- Associate degree or equivalency of experience
- 8+ years’ experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory role
Preferred:
- Automotive supplier manufacturing experience <
