Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

The New Grad RN position is for recent RN graduates or those with less than one year of RN experience. Those hired as a New Grad RN will work under a licensed RN until license can be verified. In conjunction with working on this unit New Grad RNs attend Intermountain’s one-year nurse residency program. The nurse residency program supports New Grad RNs in their transition from classroom to caregiver through webinars, simulations, case studies, and in person meetings. About the Medical Imaging RN Role:

As a Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging, you will be responsible for preparing patients for a variety of imaging procedures across different body parts (excluding the heart). This position requires a commitment to high-quality care, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating closely with the healthcare team. You may also rotate through sedation areas and assist with emergency procedures as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

New Grad RN

Entry Pay: $30.87

• Successful completion of a recognized and accredited Nursing/RN education program (education will be verified).

RN

Entry Pay: $34.19

• Current RN License in state of practice.

New Grad RN and RN

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN within five years of their start date.
