The Warehouse Manager directly reports to the branch manager but serves as a support for the service manager and project coordinator. This individual plays a key role in the efficiency of the department by handling parts pricing and procurement, company vehicle needs, and general office tasks. The objective of this role is to streamline business tasks and aid team members in daily operations. The Warehouse Manager will provide support to managers and field personnel in strict compliance with ACIS core values, company policies, and procedures. In doing so, the department will achieve success in customer satisfaction, work quality, profitability, and company culture.


This role has a critical impact on the growth, success, and profitability of the entire organization, and working in close connection with Account Managers, Project Coordinators, as well as the management team is an essential function of this role to achieve all company objectives. This role should be viewed as an interim position while gathering industry knowledge and experience toward becoming a technician.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Oversee company vehicle safety reports, inspections, and general maintenance.
  • Source parts and materials for technicians. Manage warehouse stock and inventory tracking.
  • Assist with parts and equipment pricing and availability.
  • Managing company tools, vehicles, and parts needed for the service department.
  • Provide as needed on-site assistance to technicians.
  • Working with department managers and employees in support of all facets of the service department.
  • Managing the necessary administrative records and controls to protect the interests of the corporation and the customer, to include prompt and accurate invoicing.
  • Coordinating the efficient use and allocation of any part runner’s time.
  • Working with suppliers on parts-related pricing, performance, reliability, and availability.
  • Responsible for proper disposal of old equipment and recycling of metals.

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • High school diploma.
  • Clean driving record
  • Ladder Safety training.
  • Efficient keyboarding skills and computer knowledge – Vista, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  1. Fork lift operator certificate (can be done after hire)
