We are looking for dedicated people to enrich our team.<br><br>Your contribution will be<br> * Advising the Country Director as a finance business partner through budgeting, forecasting, financial controlling, and financial insights to support informed decision-making and country objectives<br> * Ensuring accounting accuracy, regulatory compliance, timely closings, and audit-ready documentation in line with internal policies and local legal requirements<br> * Analysing financial data and producing management reports and insights to support decision-making, audits, regulatory submissions, and continuous process improvement<br> * Coordinating finance-related activities across audits, regulatory processes, and strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with organisational standards<br> * Collaborating with Finance Headquarters and internal stakeholders to align financial reporting, processes, and operational execution<br> * Developing and maintaining finance process documentation and internal guidelines to support continuity, knowledge transfer, and alignment with internal policies and standards<br><br>Your profile ideally illustrates<br> * Several years of professional experience managing end-to-end finance processes, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end closings, audits, compliance, and financial analysis<br> * Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with sound knowledge of Austrian accounting regulations (UGB), statutory reporting requirements, and basic tax implications; professional accounting certifications are considered an advantage<br> * Experience with accounting and ERP systems, as well as strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is considered an advantage<br> * Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with management and non-finance stakeholders; project coordination experience is considered an advantage<br> * Professional proficiency in German and English is required<br> * Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission<br><br>Our offer includes<br> * A multinational team with the spirit of being ONE FOUR PAWS<br> * An eLearning onboarding platform<br> * Work from a beautiful office in the city centre of Vienna, easy to reach by public transport<br> * Flexible working times with the option of partial remote work<br> * Wiener Linien annual ticket or partial contribution to the "Klimaticket" and pension fund after probationary period<br> * Dog-friendly office<br> * Extra family days at the end of the year<br> * Birthday leave: extra day off to use around your birthday<br> * The minimum gross annual salary for this position starts at 55,000 EUR (full-time base, consisting of 14 payments), in accordance with our internal compensation scheme<br> <br><br>We reveal, rescue and protect unique animals from many different species through systems change and by creating species-appropriate environments at our sanctuaries! <br><br>All interested individuals are invited to submit their applications for the position.
