Role Overview:

As a Cyber Security Manager, you will support and manage various interrelated cybersecurity topics and projects within the scope of the Advanced Cyber Security Framework. You will lead sub-projects or work packages in large-scale cybersecurity programs and serve as a strategic contributor in planning, execution, and communication across teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, plan, enforce, and support a range of interconnected cybersecurity topics or independently managed projects.

• Serve as project manager for program-related sub-projects in information security environments.

• Coordinate project activities across multiple internal and external partners, including international cooperation.

• Contribute to or lead the creation of security-related documentation, including plans, maintenance, training, and operational documents.

• Support the design phase in collaboration with development teams and contribute to integration, installation, commissioning, and service concept design.

• Participate in customer and industry training activities and negotiation discussions.

• Ensure quality, cost, and schedule adherence for cybersecurity initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelors degree in an IT-related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Security, or similar).

• Languages:

  • German: C1 level (fluent)

  • English: B1 level (intermediate)
    (According to the CEFR framework)

• Certifications:
  Relevant certificates in project management or cybersecurity are required. Time-limited certificates must be valid at the time of application. Equivalent qualifications may be accepted if equivalency is demonstrated.

Professional Experience:

• >3 years of experience leading sub-projects or work packages in large-scale cybersecurity programs
  (Projects must be >1 year in duration, with >20 team members, and >5 million budget)

• >3 years of experience in corporate communications

• >3 years of experience in project management
  (Evidence must show substantial, continuous, and content-rich activity, not isolated or one-off tasks.)

Soft Skills:

Assessed via interview:

• Strong teamwork skills

• Professional communication and interpersonal behavior

• Clear and effective verbal expression

Special Requirements:

• Remote work proportion: ~75%

• Driving license (optional): Class B (ideally BE and C1E)

• Intercultural competence and willingness to travel may be required depending on the project
