Job Overview & Responsibilities
The Vice President of US Federal SaaS Consulting is responsible for the strategic and operational components of our Oracle product-specific SaaS consulting services to serve National Security, Defense, Civilian, and Public Safety. This role is responsible for building and executing the overall SaaS services strategy, to include a go-to-market approach, sales, delivery, and managed services, while ensuring operational excellence of the group. You will work cross-functionally with all other teams within Mythics Consulting, as well as Corporate Marketing and Product Sales organizations across the enterprise. This role will report into the Senior Vice President of SaaS Consulting and is part of the executive team within the organization. The individual needs to be a US Citizen with security clearance or the ability and willingness to pursue the Clearance process.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
- Lead, manage and grow the Federal SaaS consulting practice by setting the overall vision and strategic plan for the organization.
- Align with the broader Consulting Services organization to ensure the customer receives a ONE Mythics experience
- Develop innovative, compelling, and successful SaaS service offerings.
- Contribute to RFI and RFX process to drive new business opportunities.
- Serve as the lead spokesperson and ambassador for our Federal SaaS practice, representing the organization at the highest levels to prospective partners and customers. Empower the organization through effective communications.
- Meet organizational goals by managing revenue, expense, and profitability targets.
- Effectively balance customer outcomes (Customer Delight) with financial objectives.
- Consistently evaluate and improve upon the services methodology to drive faster time to value for our customers.
- Collaborate closely with partner teams to provide services from multiple providers when required.
- Work closely with Oracle Federal Sales Team to educate and promote Mythics’ consulting services and capabilities.
- Focus on operational excellence using data to drive decision making.
- Function as an executive sponsor for key client projects.
- Enhance company reputation, credibility, and visibility around the fulfillment of robust client engagements involving the consulting and delivery of products and services.
- Cultivate a strong, smart ecosystem of employees, partners, and clients.
- Be an inspirational role model by challenging and maximizing the strength of the team and aligning their efforts to the mission and vision of the organization.
- Work in close cooperation with all other areas of the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree a plus, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 20 years’ experience in Consulting Delivery and Consulting Services management including at least five years leading a successful CS practice with financial objectives in an enterprise software environment, ideally in SaaS. Majority of this experience should be in the Federal Consulting sectors, namely National Security, Defense, Civilian, and Public Safety.
- Must be a US Citizen with a security clearance or the ability and willingness to pursue the Clearance process.
- Demonstrated record of building and managing software delivery, preferably SaaS, P&Ls over $25M in ARR.
- Experience in selling and positioning Consulting Services for the US Federal Sector
- Experience leading directors and senior directors and interfacing at the executive levels internally within the organization.
- Experience establishing and cultivating strong relationships with OEM and customer stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with Customer Success to drive post sales services engagements.
- 5+ years of implementation experience with Oracle Cloud products in Financials, Enterprise Performance Management, Human Capital Management, Supply Chain Management, and Analytics realms.
- Experience managing a project team through at least three full cycle implementation engagements.
- Experience with services commercialization, productization, and positioning services with sales teams and large strategic clients.
- Experience successfully working, presenting, and negotiating with senior (C-level) executives.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Able to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
- Familiarity with Cloud based deployments.
- Experience implementing Oracle Redwood.
- Experience with AI agents within the Oracle Cloud applications is a plus.
