At Anser Advisory, a part of Accenture, we are looking for a Project Controls Manager to join our growing Utility teams! The Project Controls Manager is responsible for effective management project control and reporting on cost, schedule, and progress measurement for the project. Individuals in this role may act as a Master Estimator and/or Master Risk Manager and develop project dashboards, cost and resource performance reports, schedule, change logs and risk registers in close collaboration with Regional Transportation client Project Team.
The work:
- Work with Regional Transportation client Project Controls teams to develop project budget baselines using standard tools, master risk register and assists with integrated master schedules.
- Integrate cost and schedule data as well as information for vendors and external entities to facilitate schedule and budget performance reporting.
- Perform Earned Value Management.
- Develop reporting mechanisms, dashboards and presentations project and construction performance indicators and feed this data to Regional Transportation client Project Manager.
- Develops and maintains automated project controls tools and workflows.
- Manages Controls input data via EPPM, SharePoint or any other approved Regional Transportation client systems and tools.
- Adheres to Regional Transportation client Project Management methodology.
- Develops process and tools to support resource demand planning, change management, and project pipeline planning decisions.
Here's what you need:
- At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience with cost estimating, control, and schedule management of mega projects, preferably passenger rail projects with similar scope, complexity and financial magnitude. Such experience shall include five (5) years in a supervisory role.
- A Bachelor's degree or similar level of experience in an Engineering, Architectural, Construction or Construction Management field
- Working knowledge of project controls, financial skills (budget management, financial reporting), familiarity with scheduling (schedule management, schedule reporting)
- Strong project management skills and strong focus on collaboration, team building, and customer service
- Strong oral and written communication skills across all levels
- Super-user of SharePoint, MSPS, Power BI/Access and Primavera/Oracle PPM tools
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
