A little bit about our team:

The SVP of Strategy & Operations supports the President of Warner Music LatAm, developing and executing business strategies to generate a global impact in WMG, and deploying business intelligence strategies to strengthen data driven decision making processes across the region. This individual will support all managing directors across Latin America to drive inorganic growth through investment, acquisition, and partnership opportunities across various segments of WMG’s business, as well as supporting organic growth providing key business insights through business analytics.

Your role:

The SVP of Strategy & Operations will be an integral part of Warner Music Latin America, supporting the President in sourcing and executing investments and acquisitions consistent with WMG’s strategy and priorities and will also be leading the regional Data services hub to ensure critical KPI’s are tracked to align the regional  strategy. Working horizontally across the organization, the role will have direct exposure to global leaders around WMG, touching various aspects of our business. The right candidate must be comfortable interfacing with a variety of external partners and businesses, with the ability to quickly analyze and articulate key business drivers across the music, media, and technology space.

Here you’ll get to:

• Support the President of Warner Music LATAM in developing and executing business strategies to generate a global impact in WMG, and deploy business intelligence strategies to strengthen data driven decision making processes across the region. 

• Support all managing directors across Latin America to drive inorganic growth through investments, acquisitions, and partnership opportunities across various segments of WMG’s business, as well as support organic growth by providing key business insights through business analytics.

• Originate, evaluate, negotiate, and structure acquisitions, minority investments, and joint ventures.

• Generate comprehensive analysis of investment opportunities through market research, financial modeling (including discounted cash flow analysis, merger analysis, etc.), synergy analysis, and strategic integration/activation planning. 

• Assist and lead due diligence on potential acquisition and investment targets. 

• Support internal transaction approval process, including preparation and presentation of transaction summaries and recommendations to senior management.
