Noah's Ark Companion Animal Hospital is actively seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Registered Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, experienced in properly handling and restraining animals, knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understands the importance of client education, able to confidently dispense and administer medication prescribed by the veterinarian, and is a positive and supportive team member. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and we encourage our staff to do the same. Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Technician - License must be current
- 2+ years of veterinary experience required
- Cornerstone software knowledge preferred, not required
- Realize the importance of teamwork and communication
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Experience properly handling and restraining animals
- Team Player willing to continue to learn
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 40 lbs, can bend with no issues
- Able to multi-task professionally and effectively
