Senior Research Operations/Salesforce Administrator

The Red Hat User Experience Design team is looking for a Senior Research Operations/Salesforce Administrator to join a fast-paced research and design team. Our researchers run studies to elicit feedback directly from end users to identify areas that can help deliver world-class experiences. In this role, you will work with researchers with a variety of specializations and backgrounds ranging from anthropology, cognitive psychology, human computer interaction, and more. The research team will look to you to support and streamline their processes, evaluate and recommend tooling and processes for quality and efficiency, and quantify and amplify the impact of the insights they unearth.

 

What you will do

• Coordinate research participant recruiting, scheduling, and incentives, including launching, growing and maintaining a research participant panel database.
• Own data management policies and procedures to set the gold standard in research practice for secure, ethical, compliant, and legal handling of PII.
• Template creation & management, best practices, and onboarding and process documentation.
• Assist in planning for the growth, impact, and success of the UX research team by helping to manage increasing demand for research: with team roadmaps, OKRs, budgets, and strategic research presentations.
• Stay attuned to the needs of the team to anticipate and exceed their needs in all pillars of research operations.

What you will bring

• Strong Salesforce administration experience will be essential for success in this role
• Passionate about documentation! Actually enjoys creating method from mayhem, and documenting, automating, and diagramming processes and making iterative improvements in them
• Ability to break down complex projects into milestones and iterative deliverables
• Strong, direct, and thorough communicator and diplomat, possessing the ability to quickly develop rapport with team members and cross-functional partners
• Comfortable with tackling new problems with minimal guidance and an experimental mindset
• Networking skills and the drive to build understanding and buy-in from collaborators and stakeholders, and to build our participant panel

 

Preferred

• Experience supporting research or similar teams in a recruiting, project management, or operations capacity
• A background in research is not necessary but very helpful
• Data Repository Experience is very helpful
• Archiving and Data Tagging a plus

 

The salary range for this position is $111,260- $130,000. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
