Senior Systems Engineer

Legacy Mutual Mortgage is seeking a seasoned Senior IT Systems & Support Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. This role demands a highly motivated individual with deep technical expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional support. As a senior-level contributor, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of hardware and software systems while providing strategic IT guidance across the organization. 

• Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer and server hardware to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Serve as a senior-level escalation point for end-user support, resolving complex technical issues across operating systems and applications.
• Manage onboarding of new employees, including provisioning hardware and configuring access to corporate systems.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, managing solution delivery from initiation through completion.
• Lead maintenance and enhancement of business software applications, ensuring they remain secure and up-to-date.
• Partner with leadership to support IT initiatives, identify new opportunities, and implement technology solutions that align with business goals.
• Research emerging IT services and vendors to recommend cost-effective and innovative technology enhancements.
• Supervise asset management processes by tracking all IT equipment and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Provide expert support for equipment specification, setup, issue resolution, and network troubleshooting.
• Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives by offering senior-level support and subject matter expertise.
• Act as a resource for both internal and external users, delivering high-level support for hardware, software, and networking environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT systems and support roles, including:
• Directory services (User and Computer Management / Azure)
• Office 365 / Exchange administration
• Network switching and configuration
• VOIP systems management
• Helpdesk operations (ZenDesk)
• Mobile Device Management (MDM) implementation and support
• SCCM for PC deployment
• Proficiency with Meraki, Ubiquity/UniFi, O365, and Google Admin
• Strong grasp of network protocols: HTTP, SMTP, DNS, SNMP, DHCP, TCP/IP, and Subnetting
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Proven customer service orientation with a client-focused mindset
